pnm math
by: Math expert
This is just a little math breakdown for curious and upset pnms. Roughly 1400 girls went through recruitment. Also, 50ish girls get in each house. 50 x 14 houses is 700 girls.
Now, quite a few will realize this isn't for them but that means that you cannot go into recruitment saying "I want this house and only this house."
You might be furious a house didn't select you, but that's ok! First, you're not a horrible person it's just math and there's a lot of competition. Second, being in a sorority is a privledge not a right. It is an honor to be selected into a sisterhood of women you connect with and all the connections and perks (and fun too).
If you act entitled on this site and to actives, it will show through so just be you and let the system work.

Just as many girls rushed last year and quota was not increased by much. Unfortunately that is the way it works at MSU. You will see a lot of girls choose to drop out after the next round of cuts because they don't like who they have left. Happens every year. If more people gave the "lower" houses a chance the process might change, but since they don't it won't. Quota is determined by the number going through preference not the number that begin the rush process.

That's so stupid. If this many girls are rushing, they need to accommodate. At least make them 75. I feel like most girls will drop after round 3
