rush as transfer

Plan to attend MSU next fall. I'm a sophomore now, but plan to finish my AA at MSU Spring 2018. I heard it could be difficult for juniors to get bids from frats, but assuming since I won't be finishing my AA until I attend MSU, would I still be considered a sophomore?
I also have a 3.2 GPA
