1) What does it take for a junior to get into a house that isnt SDT or AoPi?
2) Let's say I get into XYZ house, will it be hard to make friends with the older girls or will there group be already set? I'd want to be friends with the girls in my pledge class but being so much older than them, itd be hard to actually hang out with them.

Its probably going to be a little more difficult for you honestly than it would be for lets say a freshman or even sophomore. That being said yes most friend groups are already set but if they are your true sisters it shouldn't matter if your their age but in the new pledge class. I know juniors the got into middle tier or upper-middle tier houses. Its just less common because juniors are not as much as an investment for a sorority which sounds bad but its the truth. But if you go into everything open minded you should be fine, if anything you'll be able to bond more with girls during rush because most of them will be older.

Freshmen are shiny and new. There is excitement by sorority houses to show off their pledges and the guys line up to meet them. Also, if you have been around MSU it can be good or bad. Good if everyone talks about how hot you are and the guys are drooling over you. Bad if you stole a boyfriend from a sorority member or are perceived fairly or unfairly to be a bxxch.
My advice to girls going thru recruitment is to stay away from the frat guys and frat parties for the first few weeks of school. You never know who they date or have dated.
