gpa for sororities

by: help

Is the GPA rule hard and fast? I am a sophomore. I have slightly under a 2.75 but my fall semester is set up for me to do very well. I know some houses only require a 2.0 or 2.5, but would I have a chance of getting into one that wants a 2.75 since I'm so close?

Since you're a sophomore they kinda expect higher from you than high school girls. They're expecting you to have over a 3.0.
I rushed sophomore year with a GPA below a 3 and thought I would be okay but got dropped by a lot of houses due to it.
It isn't impossible to go through rush, but be prepared to get cut a lot.

Do they tell you that your GPA is an issue? Do some care more than others about GPA?

What house did you end up in? And should you mention your GPA and explain it or not mention it at all?

If you have above a 2.5 you will be fine.

if you're an incoming freshman does your high school gpa matter going into recruitment?

I know the house I'm in automatically drops people below our cut off gpa and I'm sure other houses do too

For freshman...how did you get into MSU if you didn't have a least a 3.0 in high school?
