In a system where only ONE HALF (.5) (50%) of the fraternities interact at all with sororities, and even less than that interact with other fraternities, we cannot call ourselves a networking organization. Sororities need to start socializing and fraternities opening up their doors to new candidates i.e. houses you don't usually interact with for whatever shallow reason. It is unacceptable for top houses to be having mixers with only one or two other houses when half of the fraternities on campus cannot even plan one.

How boring. You're a complainer and basing this exclusively on emotion. Greek Life is exists because of its exclusivity. Instead of attempting to force a house to hang out with a house they don't want to, the house that isn't seeing as much action needs to become better. That's really it. It's survival of the fittest. Similar idea to capitalism. The strong win, sorry 'bout it. If IFC/Panhel did force houses to hang out, say a Top tier Frat with a bottom sorority, the poor girls would likely be subjected to a bad showing and/or being made fun of, and would end badly. Same is true for the other way around. You think No Show ChiO is going to show up for a TDX one-on-one? Yeah right.

Why would you want to hang out with organization's that don't want to hang out with you anyways? If these few fraternities/sororities are going to be "shallow" then they shouldn't be people you want to associate with. Enjoy the people you do get to have socials with and that like hanging out with your house.
