trying to improve

I'm a freshman who wasn't initially interested in Greek life so I went with some friends but only rushed a couple houses. I ended up liking the guys at one but the problem is that the house I joined is one of the lower houses and we don't excel at anything. I really like the guys in my house but we are not too great socially or very involved on campus. Just want some ways or ideas to improve our chapter as a whole.
