silence?

Silence is the month beginning when freshmen move in until the morning after panhellenic bid day that forbids contact between the fraternities and sororities. They can't go to each other's houses, apartments, etc. They cannot hang out on campus nor wear letters when they're with each other. If you truly follow the rules the only time you can see the other is far away from campus and neither of you in letters. It's also technically a campus wide dry period. There's also rules in silence that limit the type of contact sororities can have with girls that are rushing aka go greek not go (insert chapter).
