Explain Chi O please
by: NihSomeone please explain to me- Chi O’s socials are beautiful and they have members already? Based on socials they look top mid already but I know that’s not the whole story. Will they get invites? Can they start at the middle, not bottom? Do they have a house?

They can eventually be mid or top, but the key word would be that could take years (purely hypothetical). They have no members at all, they have a few girls interested because they tabled last year, all depends on how pretty the girls are and how many for reference the average PC is 150-200 and mostly very pretty. Chi O does not have the infrastructure to do that kinda numbers on day one. While they might have a better rep than AGD, it is going to be filled with people that did not get bids from a phi, axo, theta, pi phi, g phi, KD, DG. If you can not get a single bid from one of those odds are not looking great for their future PC. (still long term can not be worse than AGD).

No house, and yeah it will be nationals or girls from other chapters likely running their rush, so it will depend on their skill. in part.

100% theta is miles better. They have a good house also (save as a sophomore on sophomore success). Theta is still a lower middle sorority, but all the girls I know in there speak highly of their experience.

Theta is getting better it used to be a lot more strict with old exec and plus it got shut down back in 2008 so nationals tend to watch theta like a hawk. They don’t have the best relations with upper frats but last sem went to hella parties with the mid and bottom frats and it was fun just depends what you’re looking for, if you wanna get into frats that are “top” you’re gonna have to build your own relations but it isn’t that hard as long as you’re social and pretty

Your right, but there has always been enough demand for another sorority. They are gonna just be stuck having socials with dchi, zbt, du, sig eps of the frat world. Bottom gets bottom, they still will get invites. In several years they will pass agd, but your right in someway

Yeah, that's how it works with new frats/srats. They take all the rush leftovers.

That is not at all how this works. A newly established chapter has to recruit post formal recruitment PER NPC RULES. There may be 300+ pnm’s that attend their parties and only 1/3 or 1/4 will get an invitation for membership. How do you think campuses add new chapters?

They’ll get a full chapter and depending on how they recruit they’re not really going to be doomed to bottom house. This is all just bottom houses freaking out about getting further down. Chi O nationals are strong and better run than half of the chapters on this campus so it’ll prob a lot less crazy than joining an established chapter with hazing histories.

If all goes well they will pass AGD in a year, but climbing takes years, do not join them for clout, only if you want to build it with your bare hands. personally I would consider all except the very very bottom
