Transfer student question

Hoping to stay somewhat anonymous. In the Fall I’m transferring from WSU to SDSU. I’m an athlete so I’m doing it to start on the team vs. being a second sting at WSU. I won’t say sports team.

I’m a TKE at WSU which is considered the top house. Here at SDSU it seems they are new and rebuilding. At least that’s what I’m gathering from cruising GR posts. I haven’t spoken to any Tekes at SDSU.

My question is if I join another frat say Phi Psi or SAE. And pretend I’m rushing for first time, will anyone find out I’m a TKE as long as I keep my mouth shut? I don’t see how anyone can find out but not sure if my social security number would be tied to some Greek database etc.

Of course I could also join TKE but it would be a big step down from where I’m at currently. Not sure but Greek system at WSU is much much stronger and a too 6-8 frat at SDSU seems like a step down.
