yeah TKE is weird but I expected as much from a new frat. in working with them on IFC stuff i honestly dont see them lasting beyond their current class.

Not 0 members. The actives members from when they were suspended who are still attending SDSU were allowed to rejoin. And they were the ones hosting rush rather than their nationals sending recruiters out to do it.

PWG Species Ending Threats
1. PWGs mating males of other races.
2. PWGs relationships with butch / bi girls.
3. Increasing percentage of liberal passive white males not sheltering their same race potential mates from numerous outside species ending threats.
4. Dads not protecting their PWG vulnerable daughters from these numerous outside species ending threats.
5. The media now glamorizing mixed race mating.
6, The music industry attracting PWGs to mixed race mating cultures through rap, hip hop and soul music tracks.

The hardest part of the transition from drinking club to a substance-free service organization is making this philosophical shift in the membership and community. Most of our former members didn’t sign up for a dry chapter house with no pong tables or Fireball shots. The National fraternity is supporting chapter leaders who are really bought in to making SigEp a substance-free chapter at SDSU. We can be confident that SigEp is on the right path. It will somewhat different, and certainly a lot less risky social program than before, but it will be an even stronger brotherhood with real accountability when brothers make bad choices.

So much misinformation and fake news being pushed on this site. In fact, a strike team of experts from headquarters conducted a membership review of suspended brothers. This is a process by which a group of leaders interview the suspended brothers and attempt to identify those who have the desire to be a part of a chapter that would aspire to the ideals of SigEp. To remain in the brotherhood, each individual was required to submit a questionnaire (including his academic and disciplinary records) and sit for an interview conducted by a committee hand-selected by SigEp National. Those that didn't wish to go through the process or were rejected were then expelled from lifetime membership in SigEp.

If guys don’t like the rules of new SigEp, it seems like pledging a different frat makes sense. There are several great frats on campus.

The vast majority of students coming to SDSU do not want to join Greek life because they think of fraternities as drinking clubs full of toxic masculinity, hazing, and violence towards women, LGBTQ, and racial minorities. This harms recruitment. At SigEp, our substance-free, pledging-free, gender-fluid and inclusive fraternity are differentiating factors and are a huge competitive advantage. SigEp provides a supportive system for doing what students actually want from their college experience.

Sounds like Sig Ep was considered a pretty solid frat here, but it also sounds like they got 100% in trouble and so are now and forever a dry frat and totally different. Are they even gonna be around in three years or would rushing them be like jumping on a sinking ship?
