quick question

How important is Greek life here? Like if you’re not in Greek life can you still party and stuff or are you made fun of for not being a part of Greek life? I read some other discussion posts & everyone on here just seems real bitter.

People are generally pretty friendly, this site is not a good indicator. As far as partying with fraternities though you pretty much do have to be in greek life. It’s a liability issue, the university is very strict these days & whole frats take the fall anytime a fraternity is connected in some way to an incident. If you’re in a sorority, your sorority is responsible for you. If you are not, the fraternity is by default responsible for you & that is automatically risky. That’s why non-greeks have such a difficult time getting into Greek-affiliated events

Even if you don’t end up joining Greek life, join a sports org if you want to party, they are becoming exclusive as well
