D-Chi, Beta & TKE are already approved to be the next three fraternities to recolonize & in that order but those will be fall semester projects. They all got pushed back a year by admin already though, Delta Chi was initially supposed to restart this semester.

Only way we get any other new/returning fraternity next semester or any time soon is if it’s a student-led interest group that starts it, not a national org/local alumni-led colonization.

I believe Kappa Sig 5ish years ago was the last time we had an interest group restart a chapter

Delta Chi will be the first one to come back. I think they have an interest group. I’m not sure about Beta or TKE. Allegedly, there was a rumor TKE has a 50 man arsenal with them already. And they met up with the council. Idk how that went because they’re all quiet. Beta, I’m not sure about them since the Penn State kid

There were a couple dudes recruiting around campus and they came up to me. Told them I’m already pledging phi psi but their pitch was they already have guys in. But like I said, they’re quiet now. Maybe because they did get move back

I don't have a source I can share on here unfortunately that explicitly backs up what I said. If you look up the alumni associations on facebook and elsewhere of these three chapters you can piece most of it together though.

I would disregard what the other commenter above is saying about DX, Beta or TKE. If a fraternity has been approved a recolonization spot, they have a set plan and are not going to jeopardize that by jumping the gun. All three of these chapters have been waiting a really long time to return.

The only thing I've heard or seen about an actual interest group now is this reddit post about a month ago about a Sigma Pi interest group, which actually would be reasonable considering they are eligible to return but weren't awarded one of the next three recolonization spots.

I've learned not to believe anything I see on here about who's coming back and when or who got kicked off and what for without a credible source. Telling someone to "look it up" is not a credible source.

I don't think you know how interest groups work. Interest groups are student-led. Colonizations are nationals/alumni-led. Totally different thing. TKE would not have an interest group if there is a planned upcoming recolonization.
