alpha phi

Hi,
I am an Alpha Phi at a school out of state. I am originally from California and plan on transferring. What is aphi like (i know it is a good house here) but what makes it a top house? Are they involved? I would love a great description, from both alpha phi's and people who are not. Thanks!
