sophomore sorority rush?

I am a student at SDSU who is going to be a sophomore next year. I participated in spring rush, rushed 2 sororities, and didn't get a bid from either one. Should I try fall 13' recruitment? I just don't know if sophomores are looked at differently during the recruitment process.
