honestly regardless of grade level, it’s hard to get your top two unless you fit the values and standards of those chapters. grade level will only really affect you if they have a quota of how many sophomores hey can take. most girls in the process don’t end up at their first choice or even to a house they didn’t want. i know it sucks but this is why Panhellenic and the chapters like to promote being open minded. Keep your options open because you should be picking and joining a chapter on their values, ideals, and sisterhood, not for what you see on the outside. each sorority is unique and seeing that throughout recruitment will help guide you in the process.
