sorority recruitment

How open minded are the sororities? Based on what everyone is saying on here it seems like they are shallow. Do they recruit just on looks? I’m 200lbs 5’4 but most people say I have a pretty face. I have a really good gpa and I’m very involved. Do I have a chance during a recruitment or will I be dropped by everyone.

Most sororities are very open minded and are looking for members that they can see as sisters and if you could fit in there! Be yourself and everything will work out great for you

You won't be dropped by "everyone." Every girl who sees rush through to the end gets a bid from at least one house. It won't necessarily be your first, second or even third choice tho.

That is untrue I know someone who was dropped by every house by day 3 in 2016.

honestly just be the best version of yourself every time you talk to the girls and try to be bubbly and out going! if you have good coversations then looks won’t be everything!! i was in the same position as you and felt the same way but i got asked back to a lot of houses! plus the way i look at it is i didn’t want to be in a sorority that made me feel uncomfy or judge me for how i look so if those sororitys that do that drop you, then it’s better for you and you will find your home! trust me girly you won’t be dropped by everyone unless you piss them off
