connections

One of the many reasons people give for going Greek is "networking". Especially at sdsu, lots of people I know claim that it will set you up with connections for internships and jobs. Is this actually true?

Yes, and no. Yes because there will be a lot of opportunities available, but you have to put in work to get them.

yes, I mean a internship won’t just be handed to you because you’re in a fraternity. But knowing a lot of people is always helpful. You never know who’s dad, friend, uncle, whatever is a boss of a job you want. Also frat alumni can refer you to jobs, write you a letter of rwc, etc
