do girls need to be in a sorority?

by: GDI

I'm hoping to go out and party at times next year and just find my social group. Is that hard if you don't rush? It seems expensive on top of my other expenses but I'm not completely knocking it yet.

It’s not the same. Rush if you have the oppurnutiy. You’ll never have the ability to experience rushing again

I feel like my experience would very different as a commuting junior transfer though. Would you still recommend/ do you know anyone in the same position?

It's easy during pre-rush since Greeks are on silence, but after bid day it goes back to certain fraternities only partying with certain sororities. It's true that if you have friends who are in the house or friends who can get you in then you're all set, but it can just be a hassle at times. Honestly joining a sorority helped me meet so many new guys in different frats that I'd never been to before and I thought were lame and now I choose them over any other frat.
