Why do we only have 9 sororities and do many frats? for a school that has over 30,000 students and thousands of girls rushing each year it’s ridiculous that theres so many limited spots due to lack of houses. Each chapter here can only take 60-80 girls each semester, which means so many girls have to get cut from the process. How come we can’t we add more sororities? During my time here there have been at least 5 more frats

I agree that we need more sororities. But as posted before, the main issues preventing this are a lack of available sorority housing (DG is already facing homelessness once Sigma Chi comes back) and a lack of national chapters with active interest in colonizing at SDSU.

If you want a new sorority form an interest group and start contacting national sororities

The social scene at SDSU sucks! Its like a big commuter school with dormatories.
The university does zero to improve the social lives of students and the students do little to improve it themselves. Its like they need a permission slip from the ifc to go out on a date. But, on the other hand students without a car are totally screwed anyway.

Ur in the minority for a reason. Your life revolves around Greek life quite a lot for someone who didn't get involved in it. You know there are clubs and other people right

There are hundreds of lost lonely sad and disappointed students at SDSU. Thats a large minority. This is a forum about greek life at SDSU and this is my story.
