No and tbh I'm not sure if they will help much. My old roommate had recs for all the top sororities and didn't get a bid from any of them. Not that being in top house is the most important thing but it didn't give her an advantage.

makes us aware of you before recruitment, but that doesn't really mean anything. it maybe gives you a 1% better chance just bc we know about you going in, but a letter of rec would never determine whether someone gets a bid. so i really wouldn't stress at all. unless you're a legacy most, not all, but most houses take legacies really seriously and that actually does help your chances a lot
