rushing as an intenational student

I'm coming to SDSU next year as a sophomore from England and planning on rushing as I will be there all year. Will the sororities take me or is there a rule against rushing as an international student?

Of course there's no rule! Definitely go through recruitment. There may be plenty of cultural differences but not being American won't change anything during recruitment. I actually think its pretty cool that you want to rush as an international student.

No rule against international students in Greek Life (I know plenty in fact) and generally being an international won't hurt your chances at all. However if you are only going to be at SDSU for one year that might be an issue.

So you do think it’s worth rushing? I’m defs going to give all the houses a go but I really like the philanthropy of axo and pi phi so I was hoping to get to know them better, would they, or any others, take someone who would only be there for a year?
