too many frats?

This is a genuine question, but do you think we have too many frats on campus? They’re bringing back two more this semester and I could see girls joining a new sorority since there’s a higher demand there but where are they gonna get all these guys for non-ranking fraternities??

100% agree. We don't need more bottom frats like KA and Pike. And based on all the posts on here from girls whining about how they didn't get into the sorority of their choice and the fact that Theta hit the ground running we could clearly use another sorority.

Local NPC has to vote to open for expansion. This is a written rule under the National NPC Org. Also, the sororities need to maitain a certain quota that is set by the local NPC. The NIC does NOT have this rule and is in favor of open expansion, depending on the University's approval and/ or Greek Life Office approval. There is no quota that IFC requires during recruitment. We definitely need at least 2 more sororities at SDSU.
