snap bids

So what are the odds of getting a snap bid from a middle tier house? I know its not about tiers but two houses i hated preffed me so i left recruitment. Its funny cause on sisterhood day i had all top houses and then these two bottom ones i didnt like, so i thought for sure i would get invited back to at least one of the ones i vibed with. If not its okay im going to rush spring but i was just wondering. Also let me know if you know of any other way i could join after the formal process ends :)

Some houses will COB. This may be a good option for you. If not, honestly, the same thing happened to my roommate. She got caught up in the idea of having to be in a top house. Over freshman year she really got to know a lot more about each house and herself. She rushed a second time, and knew she wanted a solid middle house. She found her fit.

Hi do you know which houses have cob usually? And around what time in the year are the cob events?

DZ & AGD will likely COB. The other houses vary year to year. Whichever houses need to add to their membership, will participate. COB is shortly after formal recruitment.

COB happens immediately after recruitment, and it's usually only done by bottom houses/ a few middles. For middle houses they will specifically reach out to the girls who their chapter recommends

Snap bids aren't common, especially with top houses. They literally pick/ give bids to people left on that pref roster

Hey there! most houses dont spring rush or COB, usually DZ and AGD sometimes KD it depends on the year

Usually pi phi does a very exclusive/invite-only COB because a lot of girls drop within their first year.
