When a young man joins Sigma Phi Epsilon, he discovers something unique. In joining a Balanced Man Program (BMP) chapter, he immediately becomes a brother. The BMP eliminates pledging from the chapter experience, and puts an emphasis on continued development throughout college and beyond.

At SigEp we don't believe life is a pass fail which is why instead on one semester of pledging we have the Balance Man Program (BMP). SigEp’s Balanced Man Program provides the structure, support and guidance required for today’s student to fully utilize the 90 percent of college they spend outside of classroom walls. Based on equal rights and responsibilities for all members, the program’s progressive challenges provide brothers the opportunity to grow and fine-tune skills they can’t get in the classroom.
