why so little diversity in the greek scene?

Is there active discrimination against girls who aren't super thin, white, and blonde, or is there just a lot of self-selection?

Going to be honest. Rush is mainly about looks, and top houses are all about looks. You'll see how it is if you rush but just try not to take it personally, theres just a lot of attractive people here.

As a non-white person in the Panhellenic community, let me just tell you that there indeed IS a lot of white people. But then again, a majority of our campus is white! As for thin and cookie cutter, I'd look at the rank of the house. The top 3 houses of course are more looks based but if you look toward the bottom the girls are not only very genuine, but more diverse.
