Although this organization's chapter is very popular on campus, it ranks below average for a sorority. Other chapters of this organization are by far way better, not only by appearance but in philanthropy and leadership. Majority of these girls don't even know each other, even though they're in the same sorority that preaches close connections. I've seen a few Alpha Phi's walk past one another without even acknowledging their "sister" not even a quick hey or hello. They lack the ability to be productive when they actually do show face; for example, the interest in seeking to join a sorority can be very unattractive and intimidating when all they do is stay congested in one spot while talking to the people they're already familiar with. It wouldn't even be a surprise if they didn't know the Greek alphabet. The only genuine encounter someone has with this chapter is rush week and/or anything they have set up. However, this chapter does give you a good impression with friendly faces. I personally wouldn't join Alpha Phi as it drove me away, but they're still really cool. Of course I'm not belittling or talking bad about the whole sorority; just believing that there is room for a lot of improvement in this specific chapter. Some of these girls in the organization aren't sloppy nor unmotivated, it's just that unfortunately the negative outshines the positive.
