rush events

So is it a huge deal if I go to all of a fraternities rush events but I'm not able to make it to the final rush event? I have a prior work engagement that I cannot get out of and I'm hoping that it doesn't ruin my chances of getting a bid

Not a big deal at all, although if they have not given you a bid by the last event your chances of getting one might be pretty slim. Usually if a fraternity likes a guy theyll bid him within the first couple rush events.
