It will be very difficult to get into any middle or top tier sorority because they can take so few and will likely only take friends of members. I'd recommend keeping a very open mind and visit each chapter at Spring Fling to see where you are invited and then decide what to do from there.

Definitely go to as many events as possible. If you weren't already planning on it, go to spring fling because a lot of recruitment events are invite-only and this is where you'll have the chance to meet the girls and possibly get invited. For the events that are open to anyone, go to as many as possible and keep an open mind. Spring rush is competitive because chapters take small classes, but if you put yourself out there and maximize your options you should be okay. When you're at the events try to ask questions that will let you get to know a lot about the chapter since you won't have as much time as you do during fall. Ask about their philanthropy, sisterhood events, and things like that and talk to them why you're looking to join a sorority to see if your ideals match up. Be sincere and stay positive!
