how picky are soroities about year?

I'm planning on rushing this August, and was wondering about how much sororities in general (all different tiers) care about and are selective about not being a freshman, but rather a sophomore.

Sophomores have just as good a chance as freshmen. It's once you're a junior that things become harder for you.
