I just read through what people considered "tiers"
Here is my experience. I was in a "top tier". THE top tier. Won't say which one.
I found the girls to be fake, superficial, talk behind each other's back. I consider myself pretty, and so do guys. However, if you are a nice person, I will give you a chance no matter what. Not these girls. They would laugh at what people wore, and if someone didn't have something to "offer" them, they wouldn't give that person a chance. Oh, and if a "sister" was dating a guy they thought was not good looking, they would talk about how that girl can do so much better, even if the guy was smart, nice, and treated the girl like gold.
I quit, and am friends with all "tiers". Guess what, the mid and lower girls are better friends BY FAR. Buyer beware!

To prove what BS this site is, last week KD was #1. ZTA was rated much lower, tri delt was 3rd, AEPhi was much lower, and pi phi was mid lower. The "order" changes every week. I'm not in a sorority but know girls in literally every one. Like anything else, some really nice and genuine, some the opposite. Agree 100% about the "tier", it's by looks only. Not to say pretty girls can't be awesome, some are! I would advise a rushee to not prejudge, don't pay attention to tier. Go where YOU click with the girls and where you can be yourself. You will be so much happier in the long run!

You can drop out of the sorority and rush another one as long as you drop before you are initiated, and initiations usually don't happen for two or three months, so you'll have plenty of time to get an idea of whether this sorority is the one for you. You do, however, have to wait a full calendar year before you rush again, so you can't spring rush. You'll have to wait for the next formal recruitment. Honestly, you'll have a pretty good idea of where you fit by the end of the week. Keep an open mind and judge girls based on how well you think you're going to mesh with them, not on superficial things, and you should be fine. Best of luck!!
