who are u to judge and decide people ranks. we are a panhellenic community. no one is higher or less. we are all different and bring something to the table.

everyone that doesnt have a house stands no chance at being top tier even though they do win philanthropies

"so basically" this all depends on what makes a sorority "top tier" in your mind. A building aka a house, does not decide how strong a sisterhood is. If you want to be superficial and join a sorority because of what fraternity likes to hang out with them and how nice their house is, you are exactly the type of person that we don't want involved in greek life.

sororities usually get classified as "top" houses by how well they are known nationally...although we would love for people to go through recruitment unbiased it doesnt always work that way..as it stands

top tier (in no particular order)
adpi-kd-zta-tridelta

middle tier (once again no order)
theta- pi phi- alpha xi

bottom tier (same, no order)
kkg-chi o-aephi

granted, girls are different at every school and in every sorority.. these rankings are based 1st on how well they are known around the nation (i.e. "my friend/mom/cousin goes to university of blah blah and shes a blah blah, were best friends so i want to be sisters too")..these sororities tend to be more selective since they have a higher request rate to be in them..it doesnt mean that theyre better than anyone...you could be miserable and be in a so called top house, or it could be the perfect place for you and the same goes for the so called "lower tier"

zta lip sync - 3rd place
LXA watermelon bust - won overall
HC dance - best overall
placed top 3 in the other philanthropies that were held this semester also
Won greek sports cup 2009
and prob gonna win atos rock the wreath

actually zeta already won rock the wreath, but tridelta has had a pretty good year

I agree with whoever said that pi phi is never anywhere. they are only middle tier because they have a house. they're never good or present at any philanthropies and their names are never heard. what is their philanthropy anyway?? i haven't heard about anything since speed read, which was a joke in the first place.

i definitely believe zta and tridelt are top. why? i honestly think zta got the hottest/nicest girls. as in, others may have gotten hot girls too, but zta is actually nice... and not retardedly stupid. tridelt, i say is on top because they actually win things. i mean, they steal from other dances a lot, but they have the money which makes most of their performances better... at least they go all out and win.

this whole greek system is a joke. In my 4 years at ucf the only reason why my sorority was considered a "top house" was because all of the "top fraternities" hung around us. why did they hang around us? because all of my sisters couldnt keep their legs closed. Greek life is not what it used to be anymore and by the looks of things and this site youre better of being a gdi than getting caught in this mess! It changes people for the worst if your head isnt on straight
