The link above is the recent article regarding the closing of Lambda Chi Alpha for UCF.

The article states......A fraternity has been removed from UCF after a gun went off near the frat house during a party.

For the former members of Lambda Chi Alpha, it's a sad day.

Their Greek letters are awaiting garbage pickup, having been freshly yanked off their fraternity house -- an old apartment building located off campus.

"We are good people. We do great things for the community. We do good things for each other. We're a prosperous organization. We were here for 40 years," said former president Yuval Mor.

The national organization for Lambda Chi Alpha put the kibosh on the fraternity. UCF supports the decision and basically said the UCF chapter had it coming.

According to a UCF spokesperson, at the beginning of football season, the fraternity was accused of having a tailgate party with alcohol where a fight broke out.
