spring sorority recruitment
by: SpringJust out of curiosity, if I rush during spring & join a sorority, will I participate in the upcoming fall recruitment? Like will I be able to rush girls during fall 2015, or do I have to wait until I've been in the sorority for a year or something like that?

After you're initiated in the spring, you are a full fledged sister. You'll be able to do recruitment and take a little in the fall. While I encourage spring rush, know that the experience is really different. A lot of sororities, mine included, aren't doing spring rush so you have limited choices. Don't just join a sorority because you want to be in one. I dropped out of spring rush and did fall for this reason. I found my home in a sorority that wasn't doing spring rush. Also, your pledge class will be 5-10 girls and the big/little and new member experience will be much different. Something to think about!
