What is the average GPA most sororities are looking for?

Each sorority has it's own #, but try to have at least a 3. Above a 2.5, at the very least. Lower than that, and you won't get a bid from anywhere.

at least a 3.0 to be safe. It depends on your year and who you're trying to rush for. The older you are the more they look at GPA and your class.
