junior transfer
by: JuniorI know people have asked this already but I haven't seen too many answers so I'm asking again. Is there even a small chance that a junior transfer would get in to a top tier sorority? I have a 3.7 gpa and I know it's heavily based on looks, and honestly I'm pretty...so like any chance at all? I'm also transferring here this spring, do top tiers do spring recruitment? And would my class standing matter more or less during spring? Thanks!

This is coming from someone in a top sorority:
Worrying about tiers will limit you severely. If you really wanna be in a sorority, go through rush and see who takes you, and love your sisters.
Juniors do occasionally get into top tiers, but they have to be like, perfect in every way. It's not just the sororities not wanting to take you, some of their nationals actually have rules against taking upperclassmen. Some gorgeous girls are worth fighting nationals over, but most aren't.
Go in with an open mind and stop worrying about tier.
