Spring 2025 PNM Another Question

I've posted questions here before but to reintroduce myself, I'm an 18M finance major transferring from Valencia this semester and plan to rush in Spring 2025. I love partying and the social scene and want a great group of boys to spend the next 3 and a half years with, but I really value my studies and am a strong believer that academics comes first.
With that being said, I was wondering if there are any chapters that are deep in study or at least value academics/professional experiences more than your stereotypical fraternity? I really can't afford my GPA to tank significantly, especially since I was just awarded a huge outside scholarship with a GPA requirement.
I'm just trying to best to do research on the chapters.

Is it okay if I rush around and I spend time at a house and it turns out to be a waste of time (due to incompatibility, not a good fit) and I just leave?

Do these GPAs fluctuate every semester? Is there any single chapter that stays at/relatively close to the top?
