is it even worth having a house on campus anymore
by: WtfNgl I’m in the Greek ghetto but I just wanted to ask this general question. Other than the status symbol is there really any advantage to having a house on campus anymore? The ones on campus aren’t big enough to be a real luxury anymore, you can’t tailgate anymore(I’m pretty sure), and if you throw a party you have UCF pd right outside your door from pregame to end. I came from UF and they’re too strict here to enjoy it because you’re constantly being watched. Thoughts from anyone that lives in house on campus?

House on campus is so much better then greek ghetto. You have a central meeting place and the houses are actually nice inside compared to the huts in the greek ghetto. Most frats on campus throw parties without ucf even knowing and tailgating in houses will be back in the fall.

what exactly is the greek ghetto??? lmao i’m in high school and i’m just researching on the different sororities, I plan on going through rush my freshman year

Considering the houses are like 5 times bigger and cleaner than Greek ghetto houses and pretty convenient, also cool being able to have chapter at a house and not a classroom on campus. If you don’t rush an on campus fraternity you’re wasting your time and money, bc no matter how much off campus fraternities do theyll still be overshadowed solely based on their house.
Off campus are cheaper and usually have more members so it’s cool to have a big group but also sucks not being exclusive at all.
