by: WonderingI am in my second semester at a sorority here, and I have really never heard anyone in my house talk about our so called rank, and we never talk about other chapters' "ranking" or "tier"... like it's just pretty much no judgement and we don't look down on any other chapter or aspire to overtake any "higher" ones either. I have friends in another house and they said that their sisters do occasionally talk about it and can be a bit intense about "keeping their spot secure", but that is all I got. Just wondering if rank/tier or whatever is a big topic in other houses and if some do really look down on others.

Honestly ZTA and Pi Phi are the two houses that focus on tiers and status more than anyone. ZTA with their issues the last few years are scared of falling out of the top. Pi Phis are trying to keep up to ADPi, but in my opinion AXiD is moving up and could pass them if they maintain their momentum.

This whole status thing is the reason why tier rankings exist. Nobody really is any better than anyone else, whether you think it or not. Posting pics on Instragram doesn’t make you a model either. Like this paddle board girl everyone keep talking about. Kind seems like a desperate and shallow move but whatever. Just be cool and respect one another!
