I’m gonna be a junior when I transfer next year and I am considering going through recruitment. But is it even worth it? Like will I get dropped by every sorority because I’m a junior? I know a lot of sororities want younger girls because they’re gonna be in it longer.

Soo I went through this same struggle. I’m not going to lie to you, I was dropped by a lot of the chapters after the first round but it’s different for everyone. I would mention me being a junior and the conversation died right after. I honestly say go for it, you never know what could happen. I absolutely love where I ran home to but it could go either way regardless of if you’re a junior or not.

It's a business so I see your issue on the other hand UCF gets a lot of Junior Transfers because of direct connect and the average college student takes 5 years to get a BS so there is a strat that will give you a shot but you may not be able to be as picky as you might be as a freshman.

If your considering going through recruitment do it and see what happens. You don’t want to regret not trying and wasting more time not in one. Top sororities take juniors if they really like you

I was in the same boat and I rushed this past fall and made it into my top choice sorority! There are at least 3 other girls in my PC who are juniors too. I say, give it a shot, the worst that could happen would be you end up just not joining one. Good luck!!
