theta suspension

theta is currently on restrictive organizational probation thru Fall 2019. Which basically means they really cannot do anything but hold chapter( no recruitment or initiation). They haven’t initiated the girls from fall yet. They are renting out rooms for the summer for PAN women so honestly, it’s not looking great for them keeping that house.

This isn’t true. They are allowed to initiate and they’re doing spring recruitment. And they rent out rooms in their house every summer to PAN girls because the houses that aren’t owned by UCF don’t let girls live there over the summer, so Theta opens up spots for them if they need somewhere to live but can’t live in their own sorority house.

theta is on propation for hazing but was also on suspension so the first is post correct. second post also true to a point. they have to basically go through OFSL now and ask if they can do certain things etc.
theta is trying really hard to make a come back! but honestly, it is very hard to after hazing whispers go through the Greek community and on here.
I’m so sorry to the girls who had nothing to do with this, but it will be and is currently very hard to come back from hazing allegations. no PNM is going to want to be apart of that.

my heart breaks for those girls hazed and Image thinking you found safety within strangers who you only got to know a few days before just for them to humlated you.

if you have ever been hazed. know you are loved, valued, and wanted and it is not okay to be iced and forced to drink and for it to be posted everywhere to show “you are one of them”.

the people involved were removed from the sorority and ucf must think they aren’t a danger if they’re only on probation and allowed to recruit. alpha xi was in the same boat last year and chi o before them years before. yet they’re both still here too. let ucf handle it, it’s their job lol
