i agree, it wont matter
by: AlumniI just graduated last year and I will be honest and say I came on here a lot when I went to ucf. I would get so upset if I saw a bad review on my sorority and felt I had to constantly compare what ppl said about us to other chapters. I will emphasize now, the minute you graduate this all won’t matter. What job will ask you what tier you were in? What employer will ask which frats your sorority had socials with? It’s all meaningless and I’d like to encourage all of you to not take it so seriously. Looking back on it, Greek life is an attempt to make college seem Ike high school again. Focus on your sisters/brothers, why you love your chapter, and don’t care so much what others think and you will be happier.

I’ll also say (as a college recruiter now myself of 2 years, UCF alum) no employer really cares about your Greek life status. If you held a position and can speak to the experience, that’s great. But don’t rely on that alone to get a job. I’d say that’s great experience to qualify you for an internship or to supplement a robust internship if you’re asking for full time. It will not be enough to qualify you without other experiences.
