how important is gpa?

I'm a sophomore and my college gpa is only a 2.5. Will I be able to get into a sorority with that gpa or am I wasting my time?

If you don't want to be in a lower tier sorority (i.e. Chi-O, DZ) then don't rush. You'll only get a bid from mid-tier to top tier sororities if you are gorgeous. Even though the UCF requirement to participate in Greek Life is a 2.5 GPA, chapters often set requirements above that.
