houses / number of members

Why do the Frats with on campus houses (Sigma Chi / Ato) only have like 70 - 90 guys in the chapter while off campus frats (phidelt / zbt) have like 150 - 200 members? Shouldn’t it be the opposite?

Off campus houses give like 80 bids and end with like 50 kids in the pledge class

Off campus frats just give way more bids. Without a house they have to have numbers to stay relevant
