worth it?

Is joining a sorority worth the money? I have heard people say that it's not worth it but idk. Any opinions?

If ofsl and student conduct treat Greek life like children like they did during spring then it’s probably not worth it. if you’re looking to join one for the socials and events you probably will be underwhelmed due to the restrictions put in place by admin, and IFC/pan really does nothing to help. UCF Greek life is going downhill bc of restrictrions which will sadly lead to millions lost in donations to charities in need.

Participanting in other organizations’ philanthropies and hosting your philanthropy makes it worth it. Your greek life experience shouldn’t only be about the socials, parties, and boys.

Uh, no. Sorry. Participating in philanthropy is worth something, but it is NOT worth $1000 to $2000 per semester. I was in Greek life for over three years and while I had a great experience, unfortunately I can say it still wasn’t worth THAT much money. If you have rich parents whatever go for it, but honestly if you’re working your ass off to pay dues, nah. Spend that money on more valuable stuff like travel, tuition, rent, savings, etc.
