where should a transfer student live?

Hi, I plan to transfer to UCF and i wanted dorms (to meet people) but i just learned transfer students can’t get dorms. What do you all think the best place to live to meet people would be? I am moving from Michigan and won’t know anyone.

Look at plaza, the hub, and U House. Stay away from the marquee:

There's also knights circle,the station and the retreat. Stay away from the marquee and campus crossings!
