honest, informed info on junior chances?
by: Interested TransferI'm hearing so many different things about whether or not juniors get a fair chance in recruitment, does anyone have any actual information on how this usually ends up for upperclassmen? I know that all sororities have an upperclassmen quota, so it can't be that they don't take any I would think. Or does the whole "there's a place for everyone" mantra not really apply past sophomore year?

I can almost PROMISE you will get a bid AS LONG as you keep an open mind. The girls who don't get bids are the ones who decide to "suicide bid" (only put down one house) or another extreme circumstance. I went through recruitment as a Junior and made alot of Junior friends who were also rushing. One girl I was rushing with decided to "suicide bid" and she was the only one who did not receive a bid. KEEP AN OPEN MIND and you WILL find your place! Best of luck!
