junior pc 18??

by: ??

This is really soon to be asking this question but, if I go through recruitment next year as a junior what are my chances of not being completely dropped/ which sororities are more likely to want me? I have a high GPA and I'm involved in a few things will that help at all? Or will they only care that I'm the epitome of a grandma.

Your GPA will help some but truthfully.. you're going to have a much harder time than the rest of your rho gamma group.. don't expect to have a full schedule everyday and just be happy with lower mid to bottom tiers!

Oh yeah I'm fine with being low tier or whatever I just don't want to be dropped completely and end up no where lol

That's always a possibility unfortunately but just keep an open mind in all of the houses and stay positive all week! I swear the process works and everything will end up the way its supposed to!!

How many years do you have left at UCF? That will be important for them to know. Some girls went through and were listed as Sophs but have 4 more years ahead of them to be active. Have you considered Spring Recruitment?

I'll be there for 2 years but I know they base it off of when you graduated high school

I went in as a Junior this year, and let me tell you, recruitment was a nightmare. NO ONE told me that Juniors have a hard time with recruitment.

The second day, I was dropped by all but two houses. Both "bottom tier". I stuck it out, and I'm glad I did. Recruitment will be awful though.

I’m a new member of a top tier and there are many juniors in my pc. As long as a chapter finds you interesting and that you can improve the chapter your year doesn’t really matter. I will agree that it can be more difficult but that is definitely not always the case. If you at interested go through spring recruitment because you may have a better chance at its more laidback!

Do spring rush, it’s better and since you’re technically a sophomore you won’t have an awful time rushing. It’s also not as formal as fall.

this person doesn't even know if spring recruitment is going to be a thing this year, which i know they're getting rid of it, and all the girls that threatened to drop this fall to "do spring recruitment" was told the same thing... go through fall and stick it out cause everything happens for a reason
