gpa cutoff

I'm rushing as a sophomore in the fall and I have a 3.1. I heard you're fine as long as you have a 3.0 but I just read that some places have higher cutoffs like a 3.2. Is this true?

I've never heard of a chapter having that high of a cut off for college GPAs. My chapter's is a 2.8 for pnms who've been in college but like a 3.5 for freshmen.
