If you can't afford to buy something twice, you can't afford to buy it once.

Don't do this. You'll end up getting dropped and you're wasting your time and the sorority's time.

the first thing you said was dumb why do you need to buy things twice? secondly some sororities do have payment plans but not for every single member so it just depends.

You're retarded. What they're saying is if you can't afford an overall cost in general (semester dues), payment plans aren't going to help you. All it does is have smaller payments at a time but everyone ends up having to pay the same amount in the end. It wasn't that hard to understand.

But yeah OP honestly, don't rush. You know you can't afford it and nothing can change that unfortunately.

On he third or fourth day of recruitment each chapter will discuss sues with you and you can ask these questions. Most will be happy to help.

lol this is so wrong, on a moral and factual level. A lot of chapters if you don't graduate as a member of the chapter or if you drop ,you aren't a part of the organization anymore, you don't get to keep your letters, in a physical way yes Bc the can't take things like shirts and stuff away from you, but you have no affiliation with the chapter and your kids can't be legacies

It's kinda selfish in a way to accept a bid knowing you can't afford it when there are other girls the sorority could have given bids to that CAN pay for it, since you're just taking a spot away from them when you probably will end up having to drop eventually anyways.

When you're rushing, keep that in mind and look for sororities with lower, more affordable dues. There are two without houses and they're much cheaper. Personally, I don't think someone should miss out on the sororitiy experience just because they can't pay. Your chapter will help you.

Sorry but if you're already worried you can't pay the dues, don't rush. It's not fair to girls that can. You could be taking their spot.
