why aren't sororities allowed to hang with gazoni? how strict are individual chapters about this?

Gazoni is NOT a real fraternity, nor will they ever be. It's just an underground social club full of loser GUMPS pretending to be a relevant on campus. No respectable sorority will ever mix with them.

Assuming you're a freshman looking into rushing gazoni:
They're a decent group of guys if you're into their vibe. They're generally an attractive bunch but you would miss out on a lot of the typical Greek life experience because of what they're not allowed to do. Look around before you accept a bid
